Why Contribute to Qatar Maintenance?

Our platform covers home maintenance, repair services, and practical living advice for residents throughout Qatar. Every month, homeowners and property managers visit our site looking for trusted guidance — and that is exactly what our contributors provide.

Whether you specialise in electrical installations, furniture repairs, or HVAC systems, there is an audience here that values clear, honest advice from people who actually do the work.

🏠

Relevant, Local Audience

Our readers are homeowners, tenants, and property managers in Doha who actively seek maintenance and repair guidance. Your article reaches people who genuinely need it.

✍️

Editorial Integrity

We review every submission carefully. Content is published only when it meets our quality standards — which means readers trust what they read here, and your work is in good company.

🔗

Contextual Attribution

Accepted contributors may include up to two relevant, contextual references within their article, subject to our link placement policy outlined below.

🌍

Long-Term Visibility

Articles remain indexed and accessible. A well-written, useful piece continues to attract readers long after it is published — building your credibility over time.

Contributor Guidelines

We keep our standards straightforward. If you take the time to write something genuinely useful, it has a strong chance of being accepted.

1

Original Work Only

Every submission must be written exclusively for Qatar Maintenance and must not appear — in full or substantially — on any other website. We run checks before publication.

2

Word Count

Articles should fall between 900 and 1,800 words. Shorter pieces rarely provide enough depth; longer ones are fine if every word earns its place.

3

Clear Structure

Use one H1 title, logical H2 subheadings, and short paragraphs. Bullet points are welcome where they genuinely aid readability — not just to pad length.

4

Practical Value

The reader should walk away with something actionable. Vague overviews or thinly disguised promotions will not be accepted regardless of how they are framed.

5

Accurate Information

Claims about safety, regulations, or technical processes should be accurate and, where relevant, specific to Qatar's building standards or climate conditions.

6

Author Bio

Please include a brief two- or three-sentence bio. We prefer contributors to have genuine experience in the trade or topic they are writing about.

Submission format: Send your article as a plain text document or Google Doc link. Include your proposed title, target word count, and a short description of what the article covers. Email everything to newwalltrading2015@gmail.com.

Link Placement Policy

We allow contributors to include references within their articles, subject to the guidelines below. Transparent, relevant attribution is welcomed; anything that reads like a sales pitch is not.

Criteria Policy Status
Maximum links per article Up to 2 contextual references, placed naturally within the text Permitted
Anchor text style Branded anchors or descriptive phrases are preferred over exact-match keyword anchors Preferred
Relevance requirement Every reference must relate directly to the article topic and add genuine value for the reader Required
Over-optimised links Links placed purely for search engine benefit, with no reader value, will be removed or the article declined Not accepted
Spammy or irrelevant domains References to gambling, adult, crypto, or unrelated commercial sites are not permitted Not accepted
Competitor service pages Links to direct competitor websites in the Qatar maintenance space are reviewed case by case Case by case

Sponsored Content & Disclosure

We occasionally work with businesses and service providers on content collaborations. If your submission has been produced with commercial interest in mind — for example, if you represent a brand being mentioned — please disclose this clearly in your submission email.

All commercially supported content is reviewed to the same editorial standard as organic contributions. Articles must read as genuinely useful, reader-first content. Where appropriate, we will add a disclosure note to the published page.

We do not publish content that has been written solely to promote a product or service without substantive value for the reader. Our editorial team makes the final decision on how any sponsored contribution is presented and labelled.

Transparency matters to us and to our audience. When in doubt, disclose — it protects your credibility as much as ours.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the review process take?
We aim to respond to all submissions within 5–7 working days. If you have not heard back after ten days, a polite follow-up by email is welcome.
Can I submit an article I have already published elsewhere?
No. We only publish content that has not appeared on any other website, including your own blog or Medium. All submissions are checked for duplication before review.
Do I need to be based in Qatar to contribute?
Not necessarily, but your article must be relevant to Qatar homeowners or the Gulf region. Generic home maintenance content with no local angle is unlikely to be accepted.
Will my article be edited before publication?
We may make minor edits for clarity, style, or formatting. Significant changes will be discussed with you before publication. The core content and your authorship remain intact.
Can I include images with my submission?
Yes — original photos or illustrations are welcome. Please confirm that you own the rights to any images you submit. We can also source suitable visuals if needed.
What if my article is declined?
We try to provide brief feedback where possible. You are welcome to revise and resubmit if the topic is suitable but the content needs development. Submissions declined due to irrelevance or policy violations will not be reconsidered.
Is there a fee to have my article published?
There is no charge for organic contributor submissions that meet our guidelines. Commercially supported or sponsored content may involve a separate arrangement — please mention this clearly when you get in touch.
